There's a very simple third option: actually provide the aid Ukraine has been asking for! U.S. aid to date has been incredibly fickle and slow. And you're wrong, without the U.S., Ukraine would still have the rest of NATO as supporters, all of whom have been much more committed than the Biden administration.
