Ah yes, he condemns the “brutality” but not those responsible. Much like how he expressed “sadness” over the mass graves of Indigenous children at former residential schools, but refused to admit the Vatican was responsible (for the deaths and the cover-up thereof).

And wasn’t that precisely what he and his predecessors did regarding the church’s long history of shielding sexual predators in its ranks? Why anyone would look to this guy or the church for moral guidance is beyond me! They are disgusting frauds, liars and criminals!
