And would you like to know what the Bible actually says about women and gays, since you seem to think it doesn't contain teachings that are used by Evangelicals today to deny both groups their rights? First off, ownership, rape and violence is sanctioned:
"I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee." -Genesis 3:16
Behold, I have two daughters who have not known any man. Let me bring them out to you, and do to them as you please. Only do nothing to these men, for they have come under the shelter of my roof.” -Genesis 19:8
"When you march up to attack a city, make its people an offer of peace. If they accept and open their gates, all the people in it shall be subject to forced labor and shall work for you. If they refuse to make peace and they engage you in battle, lay siege to that city. When the Lord your God delivers it into your hand, put to the sword all the men in it. As for the women, the children, the livestock and everything else in the city, you may take. These as plunder for yourselves. And you may use the plunder the Lord your God gives you from your enemies." -Deuteronomy 20:10-14
"Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression." 1 Tim. 2:11-14
"Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" -Exodus 22:18
“If a woman conceives and bears a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days. As at the time of her menstruation, she shall be unclean." -Leviticus 12:2
"But if she bears a female child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her menstruation. And she shall continue in the blood of her purifying for sixty-six days." -Leviticus 12:5
“If a man meets a virgin who is not betrothed, and seizes her and lies with her, and they are found, then the man who lay with her shall give to the father of the young woman fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife, because he has violated her. He may not divorce her all his days." -Deuteronomy 22:28-29
Then you've got the way God keeps "tearing the fruit of the womb" out of women who are seen as unrighteous, how he instructs the Israelites to eat their children when under seige, and as for gays...
"Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin."-Leviticus 18:22
"If a man practices homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman, both men have committed a detestable act. They must both be put to death, for they are guilty of a capital offense." -Leviticus 20:13
For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error." -Romans I:26-27
