Are you referring to Bott, or Dunn? I can't speak to the former beyond what I've seen in his comments. But Dunn is different. He may claim he's against all wars, but when pressed, he resorts to pro-Russian propaganda and open support for them.

That includes claiming Ukraine's run by Nazis, that NATO is to blame for expanding, that the Ukrainian people are only fighting because the U.S. is making them, that Ukraine can't win and will get us into WW3, and so forth.

Anyhoo, you make entirely good points, like the need for balance, not judging too quickly, and hearing a person out about things. I would be lying if I said I don't have an axe to grind and a horse in this race. But I've been following developments in Russia since the early 2000s and am familiar with the all-too common deflections.
