Comparing the situation in Ukraine to the one in Israel-Palestine is asinine, to say the least! Russia invaded with the intention of restoring old Soviet territory and placing a puppet regime back in charge. It maintains the war because Putin cannot accept a defeat, knowing it will end his 23-year reign. Ukraine does not have the power to make lasting peace anymore than Hamas does. That power rests with Russia and Israel, respectively.
