Damn, now this is bang on! You are indeed correct in pointing out the hypocrisy. It is disgusting the way pro-Israel folks will act like it’s somehow everyone else’s responsibility to accommodate refugees they created (and I have heard such arguments firsthand from an old acquaintance). The parallels between this and the Exodus of 1947-48 are startling and something I hadn’t considered before seeing this post.
