I also challenge this source on multiple grounds. It is blindly claiming without evidence that NED somehow orchestrated the Revolution of Dignity, or claiming Yanukovych was "elected." In truth, Yanukovych has been in power on and off since 2002, and maintained his position through rigged elections and abuses. He was removed from power temporarily because Ukrainians had had enough and mounted the Orange Revolution.
He was overthrown by his own government because popular resistance to him by pro-democratic, pro-EU forces had reached its boiling point.

The very notion the CIA orchestrated his overthrow is Kremlin propaganda. They've tried to blame their actions on the CIA, the U.S. and NATO from the beginning, based on nothing more than unsupported hyperbole and anti-western paranoia.
