I never said any such thing. I said from the get-go that it was the British declaring Mandatory Palestine a national homeland for the Jews that ended the historic trend of their being peace.

And nice try, but you didn't disprove my last claim, remember? You showed a massacre that occurred post Balfour Declaration, precisely as I said. As for this latest example, again, you are citing what was an isolated incident compared to the regular bouts of persecution and pogroms that occurred in Europe throughout the Middle Ages and the early modern period.

Second, you two sources cite a massacre where 12 Jews were killed during an uprising against Egyptian rule. The second source is the Egyptian response that killed 500 Palestinian civilians and rebels. Now here's an example that disproves your entire claim about Jews fairing better in Europe (from the same period):

Note the over 200 pogroms in the 1881 - 1882 alone.
