I'd be inclined to agree. I recall Kim flying friends to a remote island during the pandemic to party because she said they wanted "to feel normal" again. Naturally, she was slammed because the idea that private parties on private islands were somehow "normal" struck most people as sickeningly privileged.

She went on a bit of an apology tour where she kept stressing that she actually very "humbled" by all the ways in which she is privileged. But it was obvious damage control suggested by her PR people.

Everything is for show with these people. Their entire lives and the basis of their fame is reality TV. They are famous for being famous and everything they do is designed to keep them in the public eye.
