It's not a historical essay. It's an opinion piece that fails to address any facts about this war. And nice try, but you're projecting. You agree with his opinion and therefore claim that I'm somehow slaved to a narrative.

But that's because what I'm saying contradicts your (and his) chosen narrative, which is to see this war in terms of blind anti-western and anti-establishment rhetoric. Incidentally, I wrote my own article on the subject and its far more informed than Mr. Dunn's perspective or your arguments here.
