Not bad! I've often wanted to write something to the same effect. The way I see it, there's a character who's been condemned for breaking the faith. In response, he states:

"We have waited for more than 2000 years for Jesus to return and spread his message, as per your instructions. And we've found neither the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth, nor freedom from sin. In our mission to 'save' a world full of sin and barbarity, we've created a world of sin and barbarity.

"Such is our legacy. And God, if such a being even exists, will surely condemn us for our sins. That alone I can say with authority, for no benevolent deity would allow the likes of us to operate as we have in Their name."
