Once again, you are trying to sanesplain violent rhetoric and open threats. It’s not only disingenuous and hypocritical of you, it’s recklessly stupid. You’re putting your faith in a man who has committed treason against your country! He led thousands die in a pandemic because he could be bothered to do anything. He left the country in the worst economic situation since the Great Depression.

He spent his entire administration bitching and complaining about how he’s perceived. He then tries to overturn the election, launch a coup, and then incited a violent rebellion, and stole boxes of classified documents.

And have you even heard about what he plans to do? Project 2025 contains a manifesto about how he will use the DoJ to go after his personal enemies, ensure all positions are staffed by Trump loyalists, abortion will be criminalized nationally, and how he’ll use the military to go after the “enemy within.”

These statements are not “taken out of context,” they are the promises of a fascist man who is promising retribution against a system that is holding him accountable for his many crimes. Nonsense and lies are what you wrap yourself in to pretend you’re not siding with a horrible man.

The only reason you don’t take these threats seriously is because you don’t think they affect you. That’s also a fascist mindset, the idea that you’re safe because you’re the right colour, the right ideology, the right sex, and they aren’t coming for you, so no problem!
