Out of respect for your challenge though, here are some stats from a Pew Research Poll about the 2016 election.
-Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents made up a 55% majority of nonvoters
-Those with generally liberal values (30% of all nonvoters) considerably outnumbered those with generally conservative values (18%)
Also, there was the "Never Hillary" crowd who refused to endorse Clinton, despite Sanders asking them to. They seemed to believe the troll campaign based on the DNC hacks were true. I knew several personally, and they repeated Trump talikng points verbatim.
