Perhaps, but there are two mistakes they can't possibly correct for: poor equipment and a lack of training. The Russian army is still plagued by equipment failures due to poor leadership. And, as you know, Russia has resorted to conscription drives to make up for their battlefield losses, but the new conscripts have minimal training and are being thrown into the fight.
