And I fail to see how offering emotional support is ridiculous, considering that many people are afraid for their rights and even lives. I also fail to see how that is even comparable to what Trump supports have said and done.

Trump voters were motivated by lies about Democrats aborting children after they were born, giving sex-change operations at school, and immigrants eating cats. They are in no position to call anyone ridiculous.
