There’s a slight difference here, though. Trump and the GOP relied on Russias interference in the 2014 election and tried to keep the door open to further interference in 2020. Now it’s become their hill to die on, condoning Russian aggression, vilifying Zelensky and Ukraine, and condemning military aid.
