THEY are correct? I'm sorry, I thought you took issue with nonsense arguments. Nobody is arguing that! The 2nd Amendment crowd CLAIM that gun control advocates are saying that, and it's a case of projected stupidity.
And the stats clearly show that the availability of guns increases the overall murder rate. The U.S. has similar rates of crime (not involving guns) as other developed countries. But in terms of gun-related homicides, the U.S. experiences exponentially more. Claiming that people will just kill using other methods is a lazy falsehood that is not backed by anything.
