This is true. Netanyahu is part of the hard-right faction that believes in “greater Israel,” where the Gaza Strip and the West Bank are similarly purged of Palestinians the way Israel was in 1947-48. They emerged after the Six Day War and have been part of the Likud Party since. They are much like American segregationists and white nationalists, in that they will avoid saying what they think and stick to watered down slogans like “security” and “the pre-1967 borders are indefensible.”
