The time to build solidarity was in 2024, but millions of Americans clung to notions of purity, cynicism, and "anti-establishment" rhetoric.

People had a choice, and this was the result. Saying "it was inevitable" is the biggest cop-out ever issued, and has been used to excuse genocide, slavery, wars, and other terrible crimes against humanity
