With respect, a double standard is turning a blind eye to Israel’s long history of ethnic cleansing and human rights abuses based on excuses like claiming “Palestinians” aren’t real or have no right to their homes because “oh, they were never an independent state.”

So is pretending ethnic cleansing (including the murder of entire village populations) never happened, or that “open air prisons” and continuing settlement isn’t a thing. You compare (repeatedly) word of mouth utterances while ignoring actions, much like all who claim Israel is “under attack” or somehow the victims in all this.

Israel is the only state in the world where war crimes and human rights abuses are dismissed with prejudice because of past history. Neither it nor this false narrative can survive as is.
