Wow, someone’s being defensive! And talk about a failure to grasp the point, using the construction industry as a basis of proof - as if the way it’s traditionally considered “men’s work” and is inherently hostile to women had nothing to do with that. As someone who worked construction for years to put myself through school, I know exactly of what I speak.
Speaking of missing the point, the very idea of being the “provider” is a gender role! Women provide plenty and always have, but we’re taught their contribution matters less or (worse) that’s they’re “dependents.”
And I would like to see these YouTube so-called sources you mention. I imagine it’s certainly more reliable than anthropological and archaeological studies, right?
