You mean like the agreement where Russia promised it wouldn’t invade in exchange for its nukes? Or the way Russia promised it wouldn’t invade the Donbas repeatedly before they launched a full-scale invasion? Or how he would respect the cease fires negotiated with Ukraine. Or how wouldn't send Russian forces to aid rebel groups?

You'd have to be pretty stupid to think you can hold someone to any agreement when they repeatedly break them. Then again, you'd have to be really stupid to think that cutting the country they invaded off from aid will magically result in "peace." Either that, or a lying fraud.
