You're dropping an awful lot of names here and seem to be making justifications. I've heard similar arguments made by someone in defense of Flat-Earthers, who said that because the government is pushing things like Bathroom Bills on people, they are likely to embrace these ideas.

In other words, this person seemed to think it was okay to push FE theories because the government was trying (in his mind) to let men used women's bathrooms. That's conspiracy theory thinking justifying more of the same.

Surely, we are capable of sorting fact from fiction and not simply believing in fringe theories that tell us "everything you've been told by anyone is a lie!"
