You’re never too old to pursue your education. My mother did it and she was in her 50s at the time. I knew many “mature students” and even got to be one when I took some first year courses. Everybody knew they were the ones to study with because they were the ones who wanted to be there (and did all the readings!). Hell, I hope to go back someday soon
