And yes it was a total route! Crews began abandoning their vehicles and surrendering to Ukrainian forces and civilians in droves. They did not "withdraw because they were needed elsewhere," which is an argument so stupid that you'd have to be a Russian propagandist to say it with a straight face.

Also, Severdonetsk was no route, it was a retreat after a long and sustained resistance. Even Russian sources claim that only more than 200 Ukrainian troops were killed. There's no comparison to the way Russian forces were defeated as they advanced on Kyiv. Where the hell are you getting your fraudulent figures from?
